Meet Jimmy . . .
Jimmy Galloway toured the Southeast playing festivals and colleges after graduating from UNC-Asheville with a Music degree in Recording. Not one to stay still, Jimmy moved to Nashville,TN in '97 and hooked up with several groups playing various stringed instruments and doing sessions. After spending 5 years on the road at 150-200 shows a year, it was time to slow down and focus on writing for his first original material. The EP "Waiting for the Fall" is a result of that and the full length record "Treeline" is slated for release the fall of 09. During his time off from the road he also taught at Boutique Guitar Exchange in Atlanta and Georgia State University, excited at sharing with people his unique style and philosophy to creating music.
Jimmy cites Mark Knopfler, Richard Thompson, Jimmy Page, Chet Atkins, George Harrison, David Lindley, Michael Hedges, Mike Campbell, and The Edge as major influences- and the late Atlanta picker John Madden as a great mentor and friend.

Bruce Hampton, Edwin McCain, Shawn Mullins, Sister Hazel, The Waybacks, Driving N Cryin, Derek Trucks, Letters to Mary, Patty Griffin, Marty Stuart, Butch Walker, Sheryl Crow, Warren Haynes, Idlepage, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Thompson Ward, Pat Mcgee Band, and many others.
